Why aren’t there any women lawyers at some law firms in Erie, Pennsylvania?
Haven’t you noticed? Look around. There are a number of law firms in Erie that do not have any female lawyers. What’s that about? Not coincidentally, they do not employ any minorities, of either sex.
I’m not talking about the little offices, that band together, to share expenses. They could not exclude a woman; they need any lawyer in their situation to help pay the office expenses. I’m talking about groups of lawyers, soliciting big business from big clients, without a female lawyer in their office who call themselves a "firm".
Anyone who says "its not like that anymore", has their eyes closed.
C’mon ladies – assert that majority economic authority we supposedly have.
